Highly recommend all pro-pain albums. I have been a fan since I bought their debut album back in 94 and have never gotten tired of them. The social commentary of their lyrics is spot on reality check.I also like the fact since this their self titled cd they are completly independant and don't try to make the charts/5(9).

Aggressive, meticulous, passionate, and righteous - all distinguishing traits that have come to symbolize the fundamentals of metal/hardcore pioneers Pro-Pain. Since their crushing NAIRD nominated debut album Foul Taste Of Freedom, Pro-Pain have become a staple in the diets of heavy music listeners around the globe.

Julie is an NYC-based artist originally from North Carolina. And this album definitely resonates this 'city meets country' as a theme. Julie met up with CT bluegrass musician/arranger/producer Willie Neal, and has found this, her sound. It's sort of funky bluegrass, or bluesy bluegrass or country with a message. It is her first full length album.
